HMC Project Call 2024

Helmholtz is committed to the topic of Information & Data Science in all research fields. With the five platforms of the Helmholtz Information & Data Science Framework, the Association implements strategic activities in this field.

With the Helmholtz Metadata Collaboration (HMC), a platform has been created to make valuable research data at Helmholtz available for innovative research projects in the long term. HMC builds on a community-wide network and develops both cross-domain and domain-specific services for all Helmholtz centers. Its motivation is to make research data in Helmholtz "FAIR", i.e. findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable.

Our project calls initiate new developments, enable cross-disciplinary collaborations and increase the networking and visibility of HMC activities. This year's call aims to promote effective measures to overcome practical challenges in the generation and enrichment of metadata. The goal is to enable innovative projects that have the potential to be integrated into existing HMC activities after their term.

Deadline for submissions is 25 June 2024.

There will be two virtual information events for all interested parties on 29 April 2024 and 16 May 2024.
