Alliance of Science Organizations
Cutting-edge research needs a strong voice. That is why Helmholtz is involved in the Alliance of Science Organizations. Germany's most important research institutions work together in this alliance.
The Alliance regularly takes a position on important issues of science policy. In addition to the Helmholtz Association, members include the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the German Research Foundation (DFG), the Fraunhofer Society, the German Rectors' Conference, the Leibniz Association, the Max Planck Society, the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina and the German Science Council.
Alliance initiative "Understanding animal testing”
The Alliance of Science Organizations has launched a broad-based information initiative on the topic of "Animal Experimentation in Research." By means of a website and podcast, we provide comprehensive information on the content and procedures of animal-based research and thus contribute to an objective discussion on the topic.
