Good scientific practice
Science must be credible. Helmholtz has long been committed to ensuring good scientific practice. We are guided by the guidelines of the German Research Foundation (DFG).
With our recommendations, we want to ensure the quality of our scientific work, take responsibility for young researchers and prevent misconduct by researchers.
Our Research Centers act independently and implement the rules autonomously. In cases of conflict, the ombudspersons help on site.
